Your Role

We are looking to on board a motivated and dedicated Sales Manager to join our rapidly expanding team. This individual will work directly with the Director of Sales and Marketing to develop and implement strategies to grow commercial sales through adding new customers and by creating stronger relationships with MIRA’s existing customers.

This is currently a full remote position (with required travel) but will move to a hybrid remote schedule in early 2023

What you are accountable for:

  • Develops and administers sales program and plans;
  • Partners with marketing to develop and implement sales marketing programs and initiatives;
  • Determines annual sales and gross profit plan by implementing marketing strategies and analyzing trends and results;
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing sales quota for territories;
  • Projects expected sales volume and profit for existing and new product lines and customers;
  • Lead commercial efforts to grow sales through maintaining, creating and strengthening relationships with our existing customers base as well as through growing our customer base;
  • Manages and expands existing commercial (military, law enforcement and retail) client base;
  • Creates and follows up on commercial account orders;
  • Delivers creative email content that converts into sales;
  • Stays up to date with current technologies and trends related to sales methodologies, techniques, tools and software systems;
  • Interfaces with internal support departments to establish positive customer experience;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude;
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices;
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequently shifting priorities;
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with company policy ;
  • Must be able to comply with safety standards and best practices;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

  • Environment: office;
  • Ambulatory skills: sit, stand and walk for long periods of time;
  • Ability to transfer weights up to 25 lbs.;
  • Travel: up to 50% of the time


  • A Minimum of 3-5 years of commercial sales experience.
  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in business or marketing. Additional years of sales experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-per-year basis.
  • Proven track record of success growing sales with existing and new customers.


  • Experience using HubSpot;
  • Prior CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) specialist experience;
  • Prior military or law enforcement experience. Veterans/current military: provide DD-214 or statement of service;
  • Tactical gear market experience or at a minimum, a strong interest;
  • Experience with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).

How you will be measured:

  • Revenue generated from existing commercial accounts;
  • Revenue generated from new commercial accounts;
  • Number of old and new (voice contacts) customer touches per week;
  • Number of customer contact emails created per week.
