Position Summary
MIRA Safety is seeking a hands-on, execution-focused Operations Manager to lead and optimize inventory management, supply chain operations, warehouse fulfillment, and e-commerce logistics.
This role is responsible for ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time—supporting direct-to-consumer (DTC), marketplace (including Amazon), and wholesale channels.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in building scalable operational systems using data, KPIs, and modern supply chain tools (ERP/WMS/BI platforms).
This is a cross-functional role focused on inventory visibility, fulfillment performance, demand planning, and operational efficiency at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Supply Chain Management
- Own end-to-end inventory planning, replenishment, and stock optimization
- Develop demand forecasts aligned with e-commerce and seasonal sales trends
- Manage supplier relationships and inbound supply flow
- Improve inventory accuracy, turnover, and availability across channels
- Implement and maintain cycle counting and inventory control processes
Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations
- Oversee warehouse operations and 3PL fulfillment partners
- Support Amazon FBA/FBM and other marketplace fulfillment workflows
- Improve pick/pack/ship efficiency and fulfillment accuracy
- Optimize inbound receiving, storage logic, and outbound distribution
- Support WMS optimization and process improvements
E-Commerce & Order Flow Operations
- Ensure seamless order flow across Shopify, Amazon, and other sales channels
- Monitor fulfillment SLAs, shipping performance, and delivery timelines
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support product launches and demand spikes
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks impacting customer experience
Business Intelligence & KPI Reporting
- Build and maintain dashboards for core operational KPIs, including:
- Inventory turnover and stock health
- Fill rate / in-stock rate
- Order accuracy and fulfillment speed
- Warehouse productivity
- Forecast accuracy
- Cost-to-serve and logistics spend
- Use Excel and BI tools to improve visibility and decision-making
- Translate operational data into actionable insights and improvements
Process Improvement & Systems
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain and fulfillment
- Improve ERP/WMS utilization and data integrity
- Standardize operational workflows across teams and partners
- Identify scalability gaps and implement system-driven solutions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with leadership on scaling inventory and fulfillment infrastructure
- Work closely with finance on inventory valuation and cash flow planning
- Collaborate with customer service on fulfillment-related issues
- Support hiring, training, and performance management for operations teams
Qualifications & Preferred Background
Required Experience
- 5+ years in operations, supply chain, or inventory management (e-commerce or distribution preferred)
- Strong experience managing inventory in multi-channel environments (DTC, Amazon, wholesale)
- Proven ability to build or manage forecasting and replenishment systems
- Experience working with warehouses and/or 3PL partners
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Experience building operational dashboards or KPI reporting systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with ERP and WMS platforms (NetSuite, ShipHero, etc.)
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon Seller Central)
- Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement experience (optional but helpful)
Work Environment
- On-site at Cedar Park, Texas headquarters
- Mix of office and warehouse exposure
- Regular interaction with fulfillment operations and inventory teams
Work Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Additional hours may be required during peak demand, launches, or operational escalations
Travel Requirements
Occasional domestic travel (up to 10%) for supplier audits, trade shows, and operational coordination.
